My task was to design and build various hero props rooted in the aesthetic of the 1980s, faithful to the world of the series and the vision of the Prop Master. This included a concealable spy camera, a miniature camera hidden within a book, and other period-accurate surveillance gadgets that feel like they were pulled straight from a Cold War safe house.
Each piece was crafted to live believably within the world of Ponies /worn, functional, and era-specific/ balancing authenticity with the storytelling demands of the production.
